Oct 11th: Coming out day on the Aalmarkt, Leiden

I was born in 1960 in Taranaki, Aotearoa / New Zealand in a dairy-farming family. First fulltime job was in the Patea Freezing Works. I did a stint of nursing training in New Plymouth before starting Art School study in Dunedin (Otepoti) at the grand old age of 19.
Diploma of Fine Arts, majoring in Printmaking (1982). Married Sen McGlinn. Completed a number of B.A. subjects at Otago University 1984 - 88. Guest lecturer / evening courses teacher + stints as secondary teacher art + art history: 1984 - 88
Moved to Maastricht, The Netherlands, 1989. Toroa was born in 1990, then Tamatea in 1992. Masters Equivalent in Visual Arts: Maastricht School of Visual Arts, 1993.
Moved to The Hague in 1996, moved to Leiden in 1999.

Webdesigner for Dutch Educational Broadcasting (TeleacNOT), 1999 - 2007. Masters in Media Technology, University of Leiden, expected: 2008.
Freelance Webdesign/Print design: 2007 onwards.
